Eric most recently served as the Group CFO for the Research Instruments Group of Companies in Southeast Asia for 18 years, where he managed the finance operations as well as IT and logistics operations. Over the years, Eric has transitioned the RI group through full digitization of ERP (Microsoft Navision) and CRM (Microsoft) operations and from on-premise IT infrastructure to cloud-based infrastructure, which further enhances IT support across the region—Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Being a distributor, RI was a heavily logistics-dependent company, and Eric brought RI’s multinational distribution business from basic logistics operations in 2003 to ISO9001, GDPMDS, and GMP-compliant logistics, allowing RI to directly support MNC Biopharma manufacturers and successfully meet their audits. Eventually, he successfully transitioned the company to fully outsourced 3PL logistics while maintaining all ISO and GMP requirements. 

Prior to the RI group, Eric worked as Financial Controller APAC for Mobileway Group (later Sybase 365), a market leader in data management, analytics, mobile messaging, and enterprise mobility. He oversaw seven offices: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Australia, and New Zealand. Today, Sybase 365 is part of SAP. 

He also has prior experience as an audit supervisor and as a manager of accounting and IT consulting for a leading public accounting and consulting firm. Eric is a fellow member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UKL (ACCA) and gained his Diploma in Business Studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
