Cheng Yee brings over 16 years of experience in the life sciences research and clinical diagnostics industry, with a proven track record in commercial leadership, business development, and project and channel management. She has a strong background in molecular testing, personalized medicine, and genomic research.

Most recently, Cheng Yee served as the SEA Account Manager at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, where she developed sales channels and key accounts for nanopore-based long-read NGS. Prior to that, she spent six years at Thermo Fisher Scientific in various technical sales and leadership roles, driving market growth for clinical NGS, microarrays, qPCR, Sanger sequencing, and gene therapy products. Earlier in her career, she worked in sales at Life Technologies and a distributor company, managing portfolios in molecular diagnostics, reproductive health, IDEXX veterinary diagnostics, ELISPOT assays etc.

Currently based in Singapore, Cheng Yee is a Singapore citizen and holds a BSc (Honours) in Biotechnology from UTAR Malaysia. Her expertise extends beyond technical knowledge to include commercial business development, business process optimization, team performance enhancement, and strategic partnerships.
